Panel Forming

Technologies to apply various forms and designs on can bodies.

Embossing
Embossing
This process applies molding tools on the interior and exterior surfaces of the can body.
Applicable to TULC and DWI cans.
  • [Features]
  • 1. Embossing at a specific location, or embossing the same pattern over the entire surface of the can.
  • 2. Alignment with printing is available.
  • 3. Eye-catching decoration with light reflection is created depending on the form.
Diamond Cut Finishing
Diamond Cut Finishing
The three-dimensionally structured truss (triangular framework structure) design, called a "PCCP shell" (Pseudo-Cylindrical Concave Polyhedral Shell), was developed during the process of space engineering research. It was incorporated into the can processing technology to produce diamond cut cans. This finishing method is applicable to TULC and DWI cans.
Bead Processing
Bead Processing
Forming beads on a can body enhances its strength and improves its ease-of-gripping and handling. This technology is applicable to TULC.
